Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it can be alarmed concerning the higher number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The services position created for intervention encounters a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for the office to attend read more to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
